In Britain, a researcher follows the movements of several housecats at night, when they leave the house to roam, and return after traveling many blocks or even miles, through the cat door, always rememberig where their humans are. But outdoors, they set up their own hunting territories, and the other cats roaming learn to respect each other's boundaries, like kings of countries. This is amazing, if alien, intelligence, some aspects of which humans don't have. Many will have 'capital cities' in favorite gardens of other homes.
The film sometimes shows how cats see colors or images in the night. There have been other similar films, including one made by a Seattle couple who put a tiny GoPro camera on their cat's collar and actually filmed about an hour's worth.
